At San Diego Magazine’s 2016 Woman of the Year Awards dedicated to honoring dynamic San Diego women committed to creating positive change, Randa Coniglio, Chief Executive Officer/President of the Port of San Diego, was named Executive Trailblazer. “As the port’s first female CEO, Randa Coniglio defines what it means to be a successful and effective woman executive. Our region is fortunate to have such an experienced, respected and inspirational leader for this essential public agency, the Port of San Diego,” said Port Chairman Marshall Merrifield. With this award, Coniglio is being recognized for her successes in leading the Port’s recent accomplishments in maritime industrial and cruise business development, commercial real estate development, environmental protection of San Diego Bay, repositioning of this agency, and many other important initiatives.
