Executive Secretary Tim Schott
Tim Schott is a partner with Schott & Lites Advocates, an association management and government relations firm based in Sacramento, California.
Since joining the firm in 1995, Mr. Schott has worked regularly in the issue areas of transportation, goods movement, international trade, the environment and land use. In addition to advocating before the Legislative and Executive branches of state government, including many agencies, boards and commissions as the Executive Secretary for CAPA, Mr. Schott manages CAPA’s administrative office and regular communications with the Federal Maritime Commission.
Mr. Schott currently serves on a number of industry-based and community advisory committees, including the California Marine and Intermodal Transportation System Advisory Council (CalMITSAC), comprised of industry, academic and governmental representatives and formed to provide advice to the federal Department of Transportation on maritime policy issues.
